7 September 2024 / Monfalcone - Cittanova🌛

Departure from Monfalcone at 9:00 in the morning. Motor navigation to Uvala Ravno (Croatia) anchored in the harbor for a swim. Resumed navigation towards Cittanova and landed at the municipal pier. Walk in the centre, dinner, night in the port.

8 September 2024 / Novigrad🌞- Poreč🌛

Wake up early in the morning at the municipal pier of Novigrad, walk into the center to buy croissants, breakfast. Walk in the village together, lunch and departure for Porec (Porec) where we arrived in the early afternoon. This time moored in port. Walk in the village, visit to the basilica, dinner.

9 September 2024 / Poreč 🌞- Rovinj🌛

Wake up in Porec, walk in the historic center and coffee. Thunderstorm with rain in the morning, then the sun came out and a beautiful rainbow. Lunch on the boat and sailing and motor navigation towards Rovinj where we moored at the buoy. Gorgeous sunset. Evening on the boat. The first news of worsening weather arrives, worsening expected within a couple of days. So it was decided not to continue to Pula, and to reverse the route, planning stops along the Istrian coast, during the rapprochement with the Gulf of Trieste.

10 September 2024 / Rovinj 🌞- Vrsar🌛

Wake up early in the morning, swim to shore then return to the boat for breakfast. Tender to the port and walk to the centre. Sunny, spectacular day. Return to the boat for lunch, then sailing towards Vrsar. Dropped anchor in the bay of Vrsar in front of a campsite, sheltered by an island from the Mistral wind which then turned to Scirocco during the night. Tender for the mainland, walk to Vrsar and excellent fish dinner in a seaside restaurant. Tender for the boat and night at anchor.

11 September 2024 / Vrsar 🌞- Piran🌛

Wake up in Vrsar after a night at anchor, tender for Vrsar, walk and breakfast near the marina. Return to the boat, some by tender, some by swimming. Lunch on the boat and navigation to Piran (Slovenia) with sailing sections. Arrival in Piran where we moored in the port. Walk in the center, fried fish dinner and return to the boat on foot. The weather has changed, bad weather and strong winds are expected. We decide to spend two nights in Piran. During the night the gusts of Bora reached a maximum speed of 24 knots. Rain.

12 September 2024 / Piran 🌞🌛

Wake up, rainy day.  Run along the seafront, swim and return to the boat for lunch. Laundry and small repairs. Evening walk and fried fish dinner. The bad weather continues, we remain sheltered in port. Night in port.

13 September 2024 / Piran 🌞- Monfalcone

Wake up, rainy day. Walk to the ancient walls of Piran, savory breakfast in a café in the center of Piran. Small purchases, the weather improves. We decide to return to Monfalcone a day early, taking advantage of a calm weather window. Navigation crossing the Gulf of Trieste on a flat and windless sea. Arrival in Monfalcone around 4pm. Packed my bags, disembarked. Coffee all together, goodbyes and departure.
